Pmzic Victory proved to be a slippery football in the season opener against South Parks powerful Greenies, but the Troians failed to grasp it and had to settle for an 8-8 tie. ln the opening period the Troians were halted on their own eight yard line. On fourth down, an attempted punt blew up when the ball was snapped back into the end zone. Then late in the second quarter the Greenies scored again from nine yards out. The PAT failed as it was blocked by tackle Wayne Adams. The Troians came back the second half and sprang to a quick touchdown on a pass- run option from wingbaclr Donnie Brogna to end Johnny Dumas. The PAT was good with Jimmy White running a sweep around left end, The rest of the game proved as a defensive battle and ended in an 88 tie. Outstanding on offense for the Troians were Don Moon, Donnie Brogna, Johnny Dumas and Jimmy White. The Troians' defense was led by Lyndal Kennedy, Wayne Adams and Johnny Lewis. 7 47?
