P ysical Education ' Physical education throughout our nation has been stressed strongly during the past few years. The strength of a nation depends entirely on the strength of its youth. The job of keeping the modern day boy and girl physical- ly fit has been given to the schools, both jr. high and high school. Young men and women gain new experiences in sports and learn important material taught in health classes. - South Houston is no exception. Boys and girls have op- portunities to compete in many PE. activities such as baseball, football, track, and basketball. Instruction is also given in weight lifting, volleyball, and gymnastics.
