TOP OF THE LINE The end of the road has come. Our days of high school had come to pass. Many memories, both fond and faint, will linger in our hearts and minds for many days ahead. Like all of our predecessors, we are joyful to have completed our stay here, but are sorrowful at the thought of saying “good-bye”. I can’t help the tear that is welling in my eye for, that tear harbors much love — love for my friends, my teachers, and my school. Upon graduation, most of us will either enter college or enter the working force. With either choice we must use the knowledge the has been embedded in our minds to help us succeed and achieve our goals. As freshmen, the transaction from grade school to high school was new and excit- ing, even confusing at times. But after being here a few months we realize that this place was not as bad as we had thought or expected. Our sophomore year was much the same as our freshman year. One year closer to completion. The next year, our junior year, was filled with excitement. We sponsored “A Night To Remember”, the theme for our prom. And that it surely was. Finally, we were Seniors. The top of the line. We had so many things to do and so little time to do them. We had to prepare for the approaching of our Senior recogni- tion: Awards Night, Bacculareate, and Graduation. And now it is over. Only the memories remain. We now thank you, the members of our faculty, for preparing us for our futures. We also thank you, the Class of 1987, for being a friend. May God Bless You All. Christel Putman, Senior
