Leading the team this year were captains Dan Hynes. backstroke specialist. John Mulville. in the butterfly. and Ron Cowen doing the individual medley. Next year's swim team should be quite experienced Q with many returning Iettermen such as Jay Davison. ' Tom Spuhler. Jack VanRossum, Jim Davison. and Bob Wilson. all hoping for a very fine season.

Distance Captain Dave Joseph Coming off a winning season. the South Hills Varsity Track Team again performed well. Due to the rain, the thinclads were hampered in their training. yet many individuals proved their worth. Although the Huskies lacked depth. the distance runners again dominated the league. Mark Mr. Consistent Hynes led the way in the sprints. Dave Joseph. Dave Reynolds and Mark Wallace earned the top distance marks. While such greats as Ray Garwacki.
