'Wisdom that may guide Always, at each turn in the road winding through South Hills, we find our principal, Mr. Fred W. Glaser, ready to lend a helping hand, in the form of a humorous observation here, a prod forward there, words of encouragement or wise advice everywhere they are needed. ln the picture above, Mr. Glaser confers with three of the February senior officers: George Cin- quegrane, Mark Moore, and Ben Brenner. our youth Dr. John McLaughlin, South Hills' vice-principal, busy man that he is, is always ready to stretch out the helping hand. We rely upon his firm, wise guidance. Here he directs three members of the Service Squad, Jack Thomas, Thomas Hinsch, and Charles Cook. Miss Marjorie Siedle, our coun- selor, confers with Mrs. McGavern, Nancy's mother. More often, the conference is between the counselor and the student. Miss Siedle has steered us past many blind alleys. S Any ninth grade pupil gets off to a flying start if she consults Mrs. Marguerite Pritchard, the girls' ad- viser. Naturally, when one gets to be a senior, like Janet Weiss, the thing to do is to ask Mrs. Pritchard. A close friend of every South Hills student, Mr. Andrew Chuska, our activities director, performs so many countless tasks each day that we often wonder how he gets them all done. Sometimes the fac- ulty mail boxes help.
