C. A. and the progress of South Hill High. School are very closely linked, for since our first student governing body in 1948 the Student Council has been instrumental in improving the school. The name. Student Co-operative Association, was first adopted in 1950 when the school joined the state organization. Miss Marguerite Trimm has been the sponsor for every year but two. The Student Council is a representative body of the entire High School and obtains its object- ives through co-operation with the faculty.
