The Scribblers Club was organized in the year of 1938 by Mrs. Joe P. Gilliam. The purpose of this club is to publish monthly a school paper. The name Tatler was suggested by the late Mrs. Charles H. Morgan and was accepted as the name of the paper. The first editor-in-chief of the Tatler was Peggy Copley (Mrs. T. E. Allen). [ 28 ]
