Taylor Patsy Crews Elizabeth McLean DeCalb Jones Alice Warren George Griffith Hunter Gee Dennis Taylor APPRECIATION TO ROTARIANS We would like to thank the members of the Rotary Club for the spirit they have shown toward encouraging the students in high school to strive for higher citizenship grades. Two students are honored each month and this encourages others to strive for higher citizenship marks. We appreciate this very much. SENIOR RINGS ARRIVE The Senior Rings arrived the last of September. They were very attractive and everyone seemed pleased with them. BETA CLUB CONVENTION Eleven members of the Beta Club went to the annual Beta Club Convention at Roanoke March 7, 8, and 9. The following Seniors attended the convention; Elizabeth McLean, Betty Jessup, Ann Shaw and Joe Nanney. Elizabeth made a talk on Youth and American Democracy”. STUDENTS’ COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION Eleven students from high school attended a meeting of the Students’ Cooperative Association at Clarksville, April 9. The senior class was represented by the following; Mary Holland Ferrell, Louise Perkinson, Alice Mitchell Pettus, Alice Warren, Burnley McTyre, DeCalb Jones, Elizabeth McLean, Patsy Crews.
