One of the most impressive ceremonies held during the school year is the National Honor Society induction of new members. Beginning with a trumpet fanfare and the procession of par- ticipants led by the solemn torch bearer, the ceremony presents the new initiates with great dignity. Before the actual induction of new members, the 1985 members deliver speeches that impart the ideals of the organization.
