THE GIRLS WITH SPIRIT by Monica Lynne Lawrence This year cheerleading began in June and ended in March. The Varsity and Varsity Gold cheerleaders attended camp in July with the Varsity squad becoming All-American Cheerleaders. With this accomplishment, the girls began more practice and had less time for themselves. They were able to at- tend the National Cheerleader Championships in Orlando, Florida with the help of many supporters and money making projects. With the Varsity squad doing this, the rest of the cheerleading squads also worked hard to make their seasons the best ever. CHEERLEADERS 161
