This year the band did a good job of entertaining us during the half-time shows. Without certain people the band would never have done as well as it did. The band has a lot of depth, and I enjoyed being a part of it, said Dave Spurgeon, the Drum Major. I enjoyed being band president very much because it was a challenging and fulfilling experience, said Latonya Pritchet, the Band President. I was very pleased with the band this year. They performed difficult maneuvers and music very well in most cases, said Mr. Vrooman, the Director of the Band. After all, SHS has the ' baddest band from East to West! ' 1.
