The Senior Class invited their families and friends to embark on a journey through time. This was done through a dramatic adaptation on Mark Twain's classic novel, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, which was presented on February 23 and 24. Due to an experi- ment on which he was working, Hank, was thrust back to the era of King Arthur and his glorious C75 knights. There encountering people full of superstition and backward customs he used his technological genius to transform 16th century into a modern, industrial nation. Mean: while, the evil Merlin and Queen Morgan LeFay were plotting to take over the kingdom. ln the final outcome, Hank foiled their wicked plot only to be foiled by love for a damsel in distress. Leaving behind Clarence, Sagramor, Lancelot, and Elaine, he returned back to his own time to meet his mother and sister. Set in a majestic castle with a cast costumed in elegant medieval garments, the play presented a glimpse of the magic, mystery, and grandeur of a place that once was known as Camelot. Their performance was produced by Mr. Robert Pre- pelka, sponsor, and Alice Alfonsi, stage manager. The proceeds will be used toward the annual Sr. banquet, Elaine fKim Lloydj calls Factory Five.
