Co-editors Col- leen Kennedy and Chris McCloskey with the help of Assistant Editor Winifred Nee spent long hours in the Student Activities' Room preparing the paper for print. The very small number of people that worked on the paper will not forget the fun hours they spent in the Activities Room and they take with them these fond memories. For next year's staff they leave behind the excellent typewriter and the furniture to move about the room as they see fit for a good working atmosphere. The staff hopes that South students enjoyed the end results of their work.

This year the Sohian once again provided color pictures with the help of ad, boosters, and T-shirt sales as well as actual purchases of the yearbook. The staff presented the first assembly for the promotion of yearbook sales by showing a nostalgic slide collection and by encouraging students to order in advance. All fund raising projects along with the dedication of the staff and Mr. Janoslk are evident in this end result. Co-Editors this year were Jean Larson and Tim Lloyd. ln addition to school hours spent in compiling the yearbook, they were asked to attend a summer yearbook seminar. Tim competed at the four-day program held at Seven Springs and was awarded first place for effort while she gained experience and ideas for this year's edition. We hope it will bring lasting memories for everyone.
