Under the direction of Mr.Sokolowski, Mr. For- sythe, and Mr. Hawkins, the 102 members of the Marching band entertained us at halftime and at pep assemblies. Once again the marching band pre- pared forthe school year by attending band camp at Indiana University. This year they also added to their list of performances the Keystone Oaks and South Allegheny Band Festivals, and the Azalea Festival Parade in Norfolk, Virginia. Assisted by the Band Parents Organization, they raised money for band camp, trips, banquet, and jackets by hoagie sales, Entertainment book sales, and by painting house numbers on the curbs in the neighborhoods. All members of the band also attended the Annual Music Banquet on May 22. Tom Bekavac and Brian Rosen were delegates to the District Band and Brian Rosen also attended the Regional Band. The crowd awaits the band's Pre-game show. John leads the band in their performance. 5 SM S fig. sk 'ff . we A . 'T 9 u ----'--NY ill Drum Major: John Devoy - .nu -1 . . .
