Dreaming! Homecoming this year was one of the most successful ever. The participation in all of the events was super. Everyone gave their best effort. The week was kicked off Wednesday with coronation, where Wendy Willis and Cory Hermann were crowned Queen and King. Thursday was the day of sales. Student Union sold. Pom Poms, buttons and Cow Bells, while the cheerleaders sold balloon tickets and the tigeretts sold garters. A tradition was reborn at South with the Homecoming Breakfast; the results were terrific. Friday was the big day starting with the pepfest. and the parade. The parade route led directly on to the field where the main event of the week took place. The football players took South to a 1312 victory over North. To end the week there was a super Victory dance. The dance had the best turn out ever, with music provided by Midwest Sound.
