Concert Choir, Variations and South Singers were busier than ever giving about fifty to sixty concerts at elementary and junior high schools, and they also performed at public places like the Government center and Twin City Federal. A new class offered this year was stage techniques. In this class students learned about var- ious technical skills and stage equipment, and also about stage production. The Music Department went on a trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco during spring break. They planned to go to Los Angeles by plane first, then drive up the coast to San Francisco and fly home.
