As a result. three Tigers were placed on the coaches' All District l7 team: Tim Griee guard: Sheldon Anderson ff- forward: and Keith Hardeman center, ln the lirst game ofthe regional playoffs, the South High Tigers defeated Bloomington-Lincoln Q62- 60l in a carefully maneuvered. perfectly timed. 3 minute overtime. As coach Mona said: When we took the time out with 30 seconds remaining in the overtime. we agreed that the man who had the best shot would take it. And it vsorked out to be Shel. Following the game with Lincoln. the Tigers took the Region 5 championship over Albany with a 7l to 61 win, Tim. Shel. and Keith also made the Re- gion i team. .
