On February 15, Blu-Tri sponsored the annual Sweetheart Swirl as the final event ofthe 1969 Sno- Daze. The real purpse of Fire and Ice was to get to know each other better, by sharing the experi- ence of a beautiful evening together. This year's Fire and Ice Sweetheart candidates were Peggy Peterson, Jackie Moren, Sandy Ferris, Janet Dischinger and Marilyn Carlson. Mrs. Un- derwood, Blu-Tri advisor, was given the honor of crowning the Sweetheart of 1969 a Janet Dischinger. After an evening of dancing to the Charlie Wil- liams' band, the couples dined at many of the fa- mous nite spots of our town. When the evening was finally over, for many in the misty gray hour of dawn, all that was left were memories . . . and they last a lifetime. -Jilfif , 5 i
