Mr. Friedrichsen: Senior Counselor Mr, Marconett: Junior Counselor Miss Kinunen: Social Worker To say good-bye to friends is always difficult. To say good-bye to an entire senior class of friends, I find almost impossible. As I think of you in the future, I guess the best I can wish for you is that you continue to Be South. To have pride in yourself and your work, to have mean- ingful personal relationships, and to find a position in life which gives you personal fulfillment, I feel is the essence of what it means to Be South. lf I have helped any of you to start to meet these goals, I feel that I have had a tremendously productive year. Thanks to each and every one of you for making this an exciting and satisfying year for me, My door is always open to you at any time you should like to enter. im.. Assistant to the Administration Mr. Silver We have a great school, a great student body. One of the most flattering statements that can be made about it is that we are not afraid to try something new in education. We have the courage and deter- mination to try the unknown. That means we are something special. For the last seventy-six years South High School has been an important part of Minneapolis and we are going to stay an important part of Minneapolis for the next seventy-six years. 77?,a,,DaqfCl, X 2 Our Assistant Principal Keith Olson To the seniors: This has been a very rewarding year for all of us at South. We are in our second year of modular scheduling, an exciting educational innovation. Our students and staff have met the challenges and responsibilities very well. You can be justly proud of your ac- complishments. Best wishes to each and everyone ofyou. gif foam tm 5 f-559
