SADIE HAWKINS DAY This year s Sadie Hawkins Day celebration was held on November 10 To help all single girls find a Li'l Abner a list of eligible bachelors was posted on the first floor bulletin board Before the evening began, the couples attended mountain dew parties Later when they arrived at the dance, they found square dancing in the girls' gym and the Sir Raleighs keeping things going in the student lunchroom. Prizes were given for the best dressed The Daisy Mae Award went to Candy Fick and The Li’l Abner Award went to Phil Johnson The only hitch to the dance was 'Marrin' Sam” portrayed by Donny Forte. All marriages were annulled at midnight — ending another Sadie Hawkins Day 26

BRRRASSETT Mr Gibbons gets tied up to his work CHARLEY’S AUNT The 1967 Senior Class Play. Charley's Aunt, brought the house down with laughter Jack Chesney. violently in love with Kitty Verdun, and Charles equally in love with Miss Spettigue. invited the young ladies to their room for a luncheon—in order to meet Charley's aunt from Brazil. Where the nuts come from Alas, she sends word that she will be delayed a few days What could be done? The problem was solved by forcing a good friend of theirs. Lord Fancourt Babberley. to become the new Charley's aunt by the use of a black satin dress and a lady's wig The next step was to introduce this old frump to the sweethearts, to Jack's father. (Sir Francis Chesney). and to Stephen Spettigue. Miss Spettigue's guardian The real fun begins when Donna Lucia D Alvadorez. (the real aunt) and Ela Delahay show up In the confusion Lord Babberley. posing as the aunt, got Spettigue to agree to the marriage of his ward to Charley. Jack gets Miss Verdun, and the real aunt and Jack's father fall in love and regain the fortune he had lost All claims to Charley s Aunt. 25
