The fluttering in your stomach as vou walked up the stairs, beginning a new phase of life? Homerooms played an important part in our life then, for it was there we excitedly compared programs, saw new as well as familiar faces, and uneasily contemplated the future. Pep meetings, new to us at first, soon came to be a part of school life we looked forward to. We became as accustomed to the school cheers and songs as were the upper classmen. Being new' to the school, we wanted to get into the swing of things, and therefore, to help us get going, many of us joined the various organizations the school had to offer.
