Together the members of Southis Fiction Club work with spirits unbounded to promote and encourage the production of that literature which is the expression of life through Words. The Club meets twice a month. At each gathering some type of literature-short story, humorous Writing, essay-is discussed and some phase developed in story form. Many of the stories that are begun at meetings are afterward published in Thalian Muses, a literary column of the Southerner. The major social event of the year is an alumni party given by members of the club. The last meet- ing of the year is an outdoor excursion and picnic. 1-'.XI.I.
