The Little Trojans had a very successful season, and ended up in a dead- lock with Catholic for city championship. Under the fine coaching of Mr. Murphy the Little Trojans marched through the season with only one de- feat. Catholic handed them this defeat in, rain, snow, and mud. There will be plenty of action shown by these athletes next year. South's frosh had a rough time this year. They ran up against much bigger and much faster teams. The frosh didn't let that bother them as they beat Ottawa 14-2 with Tucker and Di Piazza scoring. South lost to Central 15-0, and then defeated Creston 19-13, with Woody and Tucker scoring. Next South dropped a terrific battle to Catholic 14-0, and came back to roll over Union 7-0 with Tucker scoring. 29
