Seniors Finish Year of Activity The aetmtxes of the year reached a new hitch when we presented our comedy We Shook the lamrly Tree It was the story of an average teen aber Hrldeparde who had a xery l1m1ted socral lrfe When the biggest dance of the year came she had no date whereupon her mother arranged one for her with Ireddle who was the talk of the school because he wore lcnrcleers The complications whreh developed thus created the plot of thus enpoyable play When Class Day rehearsals began rt was rexealed that the musical Showboat was to be the theme Senxor Prom Caps and gowns ot gray were worn at the rmpressuxe Commencement ceremony Through the doors of learning, these senlors hue passed The doors ot opportunity rwart to be opened oanne I-lelmstra and Whrtney Carnahan After the Christmas xacatron we electetl Yvonne De Good to represent South as our snow queen We opened the door on Valentines Day with a class party and the crowning of the class sweetheart oyce Bittner On St Patricks day the senrors were bedecked with green shamroclcs which were prowlded for them by the Home Room Council The girls had a chance to capture the man of therr dreams for the Damsels Drag on May 20 Royal blue and gray were chosen as the class colors whxle the Amerrcan Beauty rose was selected as the class flower Competntlon was leecn before we decided upon the class song which was wrrtten by rm Slater md Marilyn Knapp Before us hes the timber let us build was chosen as the class motto TW lf' an-:faq Row 1 lN XX ebb A Bing., Row 2 V Hurser B Merrrhew S Mare l 7 ' 7 1 l - y A . , 1 5 l ' 7 . , . h , 4 V D ' I , I ' . . , ' T ' Y 'n .
