3 ohn Bogema, vice-president Victors in the fight were: president, Len Storm- zandg vice-president, john Bogemag secretary, Vel- ma Klingg treasurer, Dorothy Petersong student advisersg Marjorie Grooters, james Wood and jim De Longg and the faculty advisers, Mrs. Marguerite Crossman, Pop Churm and Mr. jacob Brady. Another set of elections was responsible for the selection of a Home Room council which, presided over by Betty Bigford, started to work on plans for senior Christmas celebrations. Santa Brady was on hand with gifts for everyoneg a ring of baloney, clothes pins and clothes line, and a can of baby food. Mrs. Churm ate cake until it ran out of her ears and acclaimed Phyllis Hoekstra the class' best cake baker. Lawrence Masse played at CLASS l. J. Brady M. Crossman P. Churm Velma Kling, secretary

SE IOR j. Wood, J. De Long, M, Grootersg studerrr advisors ,iff Dorothy Peterson, treasurer 28 Len Stormzand, president I couldn't help smiling at them, when they came back to my halls in September. They were seniors now, eager little beavers full of inspirations and ideals which they thought were new. They were going to make me into the best school in towng their's was to be the best class in history. Like all other senior classes, they started out by making a lot of noise about their ideas. VUho's Umbriago? Don't be a sucker, vote Little Lulu! A kiss from the Champ Vampsf' Vote Devine Nine. These became common battle cries. l'll have to ad- mit it was quite the campaign with Kent Esbaugh parading around in his red Little Lulu dress and jim Lehan predicting the future for the class of K-15 in a bath towel turban.
