The history department did much this year to provide the future citizens with knowledge that history is filled with romance and excitement, - mance of frontiers, of inventions, of discoveries, and most important of all, government- a demo- cratic government.

The future homemakers of this generation are being well prepared through the help of the Misses Clara Dunlap Laura Moore Eleanor Tumath and Sue Gross The home economics department offered thc girls home nursing foods clothing home manage- ment and personal regimen. In the home nursing class the girls were taught the care of sick peopleg while in foods' classes girls learned the funda- mentals of cooking. Clothing classes taught the art of cutting and putting together a garment. The operating and maintenance of a home was taught in the home management classg while in the personal regimen class the girls learned per- sonal care and hygiene.
