Successful Homecoming Highlights Tradition Homecoming 1975 was highlighted with the revival of an old tradition, the selection of a Homecoming Queen and King, Voting for this took place in homeroom classes with Barbara Kearl and Mike Ringwood being chosen as the royal couple. The well-attended Homecoming assembly took a look into past years and events and featured some out- standing talents from members of the alumni. The spirit squad then took charge of the assembly to get the student body excited for the football game against Highland. Despite Southls 28-O defeat, Cub spirit was great, The fourth animal tricycle race was again won by South seminary teacher, Dave Taylor. The animal fence-dec- orating contest attracted only three entriesg however, the winning fence was not announced. The semi-formal dance, held in the school cafeteria, was very well-attended, successfully ending the day's activities.
