This is not simply a picture of an entrance into South High School. It represents an opportunity for students to enrich and mold their lives through the academic, social, and athletic experiences which they enjoy as Southernaires. The rapid increase in knowledge and the constant changes in modern society require that education be a lifelong process. The chief goal of any high school is to provide students with the desire and ability to continue their search for understanding and competence. The contents of this yearbook is a tribute to the excellence of background which South High provides for its graduates. 4
