JUST REMINISCIN' For three years we've all been together And now that it's time to part. There's a little twinge of regret That comes right from the heart. Hearts that have known happiness And yes, they've known tears. But each day brought us something To remember through the years. There were history, English, and math Combined with the clubs we all know; Homework was skipped and classes were cut But the day of reckoning came with woe. Tall and lanky, short and stocky Were the players on our team, A will to win, no fear to fight Was always their main theme. Vacations came with anticipated joy Three months of rest and of play We all returned glad to be back No matter what we might say.
