Mr. Vic Taylor, Mr. Marshall Bible, Mr. lack Lawson, Rocket coaches. 66 FOOTBALL Our football team this past season started the year with a banq by beating East 20 to O, but in the middle of the season they got into a losing streak. They snapped this streak and Went on to pile up a six Win and three loss record and a three Win and zero loss record in the A division to Win the championship and the Roy N. Lotspeich Trophy from the Knoxville Iournal. We were very lucky last year in qettina Vic Taylor as new head football coach from Ducktown and in his first year at South he led us to the championship and Was voted by the coaches of Knoxville as Coach of the Year for, which he Won a trophy from the Quarterback Club.
