B; ' it I In 5 ' - ■PTF , Tl - Foreign Exchange Students Jarkko Virtanen Jarkko Virtanen is from Oulu, Finland. He is staying with the Lindenmans. Jarkko thinks that the work is harder over there, and that even though ASB is power- ful, Oulus ' ASB is more so. In Finland they have an organization called Teen-aid Squad which covers all High Schools. Jarkko is on the Varsity Soccer Team. He likes soccer, swimming, beaches, skiing, and Rock concerts. Aydan Gulerce Aydan Gulerce is from Izmir Turkey. She is living with the Carmichaels, who have two daughters, Anne and Lea. Aydan says her tavonie part of South is the activities. She is an Athena and goes to as many sport games as her busy schedule allows. She also likes mu- sic, dancing, the beach, horseback riding, volleyball and skiing. In Turkey, instead of changing classes, they change teachers. Their activities allow for picnics and skiing trips, as well as dances and clubs. She likes South very much and says she has made very good friends that she will never forget.
