Creative Writing Journalism Mr. Roland Wahl Mr. Thomas Rische Creative writing is for students who wish to express their imagination through writing. Mr. Wahl ' s advanced classes publish South ' s literary magazine. ANALECTA. Students entering Journalism learn about the mass media, propaganda, the construction of a newspaper, and various writing techniques. Advanced students pub- lish THE SWORD AND SHIELD. 1 Mr tckart Berger Mr. George Wagner Mr. Berger has been our foreign exchange teach- er from Germany this year. He exchanged jobs with Miss Rumer, the German teacher from South, through the Fulbright Program. Mr. Berger likes the climate in Southern California, and has noticed that the people here are more informal and much more interested in sports. He also enjoys traveling, and especially liked Death Valley.
