Having no league in which to com- pete, the South High Gymnastics team acts strictly as an exhibition team. The team, consisting of both boys and girls, perform at basketball halftimes, assem- blies, and some of the feeder schools. Coach Bill Finch says that even though there is no competition, the members of the team really take gymnastics to heart. A P.E, student gains knowledge of gymnastics by rigorous class practice

The team led by sophomore Dottie Beck, for the second year, is in high hopes of bettering their squad record. The tennis team entered the South Yosemite League and expects to give their opposition'stiff competi- tion. Absent from this year's squad was David Swat- zell, one of last year's top players.
