This is the cry of the girls' volleyball team. ' This is one of the favorite sports among the girls. As fall brought us back to school, we busily gath- ered gym suits, shoes, socks, and sweatshirts. New lockers were issued and the rules and regulations were reviewed. Playing basketball, baseball, and volleyball developed us into co-ordinated athletes. There were also courses in track, modern dance, tennis, archery, and swimming. Reaching for the sun, these slaves plea for their lives. Having no league in which to com- pete, the South High Gymnastics team acts strictly as an exhibition team. The team, consisting of both boys and girls, perform at basketball halftimes, assem- blies, and some of the feeder schools. Coach Bill Finch says that even though there is no competition, the members of the team really take gymnastics to heart. A P.E, student gains knowledge of gymnastics by rigorous class practice
