The team played many exciting games with Bakersfield, East Bakersfield, and North High. The most exciting of which was with North High when the team lost by one basket. Returning this year were lettermen Doyle Robf ins, Lehman Williams, and Virgil Mills. Top scorer for the Raider team was Eddie Green with 173 pts. for the season. How about this for low dribbling! Mr. Cote felt that the most out- standing game was the game played against Taft. ln this game South was twenty points behind at half time and won the game by two points 38-36.
