PIGSKIN REVIEW ALTHOUGH WE had high hopes for our 1955 Varsity Team they Finished up with a 1-8 record, but a large number of sophomores received a great deal of experience and will be using it next season. The Bulldogs opened their season with a 12-7 victory over Arlington, to whom we had lost the previous year. Traveling to Grandview, the Bulldogs took a 26-6 loss. LINDEN DEFEATED South in their first league game with a 26-13 score. The Bulldogs had one of their worst defeats when they lost to East, 62-O. Next South took a 21-14 defeat from Fostoria on their field. Taking on the Central Pirates for the Homecoming games, the Bulldogs took a 24-0 loss. Carol Danison was crowned queen. South finished up the season with three more losses. West defeated them 13-0, North, 25-12, and Aquinas, 23-20. Ron Wilkey gained a place on the All-City teams, with Louie Vargo and Don Morehart receiving honorable mention. Q31 4 COACHES ,.
