Huber has been prin- cipal at South for two years, and in that time he has helped many students see life clearly and get the most opportunities out of it. Mr. Huber had much experience as a teacher and principal before coming to South. Mr. Huber's favorite pastimes are gardening and spending time with his family. In what spare time that he has left, he is a writer. He recently wrote and had published a 54-page booklet en- titled As the Twig Is Bent. The booklet deals with problems that parents have in rearing children. Being a father of three children himself, Mr. Huber is considered an authority on children and young people. Another of our principal's out- side interests is giving speeches on the upbringing of children. He speaks at churches and P. T, A. meetings whenever his schedule permits him. One of Mr. Huber's important aims is to help students achieve the highest goals in life.
