IUNE CLASS' OFFICERS Heading the Iune graduating class of 1954 was Benny Wright. Benny was very active in sports. In his senior year he was co-captain of our championship basketball team and was one of the high scorers on our team. Helping Benny in his job was Ann Chamberlain. Ann was head cheerleader and was our 1953 Home- coming Queen. Havinlg the job of keeping the class books up to date an arranging dates for this and that was the job of Kay Shaulis, senior class secretary. Kay was active in G.A.A. and other school activities. Gene Dixon, senior treasurer, was kept busy col- lecting all the money. After four years of dances, activities, class friends, study, laughter, and tears . . . the senior oflicers leave South with many memories. During the year theses senior advisers are kept busy helping the seniors iron out many of the problems that they face.
