FALL PLAY 'CDouble Doorv was presented as the 1952 fall play. The cast did a fine job of concealing un til the end what was hidden behind the double door. Pat Williams, portraying the part of Victoria Van Bret, kept a stern upper hand over her sister Caroline QWilrna Evansj and brother Rip Uoe Brownj. Anne Darrow CHelen Pappasj, whom Victoria locked behind the double door, was finally found by her hus- band Bip and Dr. Sully QLarry Evansj. The play kept the audience seated quietly in suspense, living the line-s just as the cast did. -The cast, seated, left to right: Helen Pappas as Anne Darrow, Ioe Brown as Rip Van Bret, Pat Williams as Victoria Van Bret, Wilma Evans as Caroline Van Bret. Standing, left to right, are: Dorli Kuepfer as Louise, joel Cossneer as the minister, Emmie Huntsberger as Marie, Eric Rauch as Mr. Neif, Larry Evans as Dr. Sully, Bob Kates as Mr. Chase, Cary Carroll as Mr. Telson, Dorothy Davis as Miss Avery and Tom Jones as Mr. Lambert. VVritten by Dorothy and Herbert Fields, with music by Irving Berlin, this play used an unusually large cast of characters and frequent changes of scenery to present it realistically. It was produced on April 24, under the direction of Miss Anna Lentz.
