VERYL MORGAN Veryl came to South Haven as a sophomore frotn Gobles High School. She has been in the glee club, '36, '37, mixed chorus, '36, '37, and the op- erettas, The Mikado, '36 and joan of the Nancy Lee, '37. ROBERT MYERS ' Bob was the only tnember of the South Haven football team this year to be chosen by the coaches of the Big Five Conference for the all-conference football team. ALLEGRA PORTER Vocal music has been Allegra's chief interest in high school. ln addition to singing in the girls' double sextet, '37, glee club, '36, '37, mixed chorus, '36, '37, and the operettas, The Mikado, '36 and joan of the Nancy Lee, l37, she has been teach- ing music to third grade children during '37. Commonly known as Ed. PAUL KUEBLER VVith his everlasting wit and humorous pranks, Possie has detinitely won his place in the hearts of all his teachers and classmates. DORIS LIGHTGARN Dorie attended South Haven High School as a sophomore, went to Chicago as a junior, and re- turned this year to South Haven to complete het course, VVhile in Chicago, she attended Senn, Tu- ley, and Lakeview High Schools where she took part in the glee club and Dramatic Club. ln South Ha- ven she has belonged to the Home Economics Club, '35, and the Senior Dramatic Club, '37. Played Eve in the senior play, New Fires. FRANCES LUNDY As a sophomore Franny belonged to the glee club, mixed chorus, and sophomore Fifth hour chorus. As a junior she joined the Home Economics Club. She has played basketball, '35, '36, hockey, '35, track, '363 and participated in the gym exhibition, '35, '36, '37. Noted for her talkative nature and her caricatures of students and teachers. Likes to swim and to knit. MARY McLAUGHLlN A newcomer to South Haven High School last year, Mickie has distinguished herself in various manners. PATRICIA McVElGH Pat, new to South Haven High St-bool this year, hails from Jennings Seminary, Aurora, Illi- nois, and Ammuudsen Senior High School, Chicago, where she participated in glee club, orchestra, and athletics. Since she has been in school here, she has joined the Senior Dramatic Club, She played the part of Mary Marshall in the senior play, New Fires. Plans to attend business college next year. Mina assisted with the agricultural show as a jun- ior and was chairman of the canned goods section as a senior. She has also belonged to the Auto Club, '37 and the Usher Club, '36, '37, She was secretary of the junior class, '36 and assistant librarian, '35. Hobbies-embroidering and crocheting. CLOYD MORAN VVith a record of all-conference tackle, '34 and basketball captain, '37, Bud has definitely stamped his name on South Haven's athletic records, Ile has earned letters in football, '34, '35, '36, basketball, '35, '36, '37, and track, '35, '36, '37.
