STANDING: Fowler, Jones, Mr. Hervey, Barner, Fritz, Tripp. SEATED: Herzog, Appleyard, Nichols, Launmn, Alillson. ANNUAL STAFF at the first senior meeting, with a great show of spirit and pep, the seniors voted unanimously in favor of a year hook. After taking the money side of the question seriously into mind, the class voted in favor of class dues. This was a bold move Considering the fact that for many years dues had been thought to be a menace, owing to the presence of a depression in the country. VVith dues as a source of income it did not make conditions necessary for the staff to rely wholly upon the proceeds of the Senior Play, benefits, and candy sales to cover the costs of making an annual. Like the aims of all the staffs of this sort, work was begun with the firm detenni- nation in mind, to turn out a bigger, handsomer, and altogether liner book than ever before compiled. CRITIC STAFF spiring young journalists of the Critic Staff this year have carried on their ceaseless quest for news of South Haven High School, which the Tribune so generously publishes weekly. llliss lfleanore Dennert again assumed the duties of advisor. lllembership in the National Scholastic Press Association was renewed with its valuable critical service. The '35 Critic received a rating of Excellent hy this or- ganization. Staff members have diligently labored this year with last year's criticisms in mind, aiming to raise even higher the standard and achievement of the IQ36 South Haven Critic.
