OTTO GREIN he Teachers' Club began its activities for the year with a beach party welcoming the new teachers. With a Lake Michigaifsunset for the background, good food and sociability combined to provide a jolly reception for the ten new members: Louise Coleman, Caroline Linnell, Caryl Jennings, Jessie Schrier, Beulah Buchanan: Grades, Evelyn Johnson, Linda Crosby, Elizabeth Hathaway, Virginia Grant: Junior Highg and Marion Hamilton: Physical Education. In September a most enjoyable week-end was spent at Pine Lake, where ithe teachers were the guests of the Kellogg Foundation. The Kiwanis-Faculty dinner and the Thanksgiving Banquet have become' an- nual features of the Club's social program in the fall. At the Thanksgiving dinner the Board of Education was entertained. Another outstanding event was a talk by llflr. Mohr on his trip to Yucatan last summer. It not only strengthened the desire for travel but also' gave a keen appre- ciation of the early civilization of Mexico. Once again th'e Club entered the field of dramatics. BOARD OF EDUCATION .- During the past yearsi of high school, the class of '36 has more and more realized the efforts and accomplishments of the Board of Education to make high school life more advanced and enjoyable. Although this class as a whole will not benefit by the new vocational building now under construction, we appreciate the outcome of such a favorable enterprise. OFFICERS Prfsidrn! . . J. E.
