CLASS HISTORY THE Tribe- Class of l935 -has had many memories. Upon enTering Their new Wigwam of Learning lSenior Highl The l4O or so papooses suddenly devel- oped inTo Braves and Maidens. They were Warriors fighTing now wiTh Their weapons of hands. brains, and soul. Soon a new Chief for our Tribe was needed. The wise men of The Tribe forming a council nominaTed Two worThy represenTaTives of The Tribe. The Braves and Maidens Then gaThered TogeTher To voTe. As a resulT They elecTed Wavy Hair Reeder as Chief. Also in This year our Spokesman of The Tribe was Glibe-Tongue Farnham. The compeTiTors from The surrounding Tribes were easily seT down in rapid succession by our own Brave. Some of The sTrongesT Braves and Maidens from The Tribe were chosen To serve aT The older Tribes' banqueT. The following year The wise men again gaThered wiTh The same resulT as The previous year, ThaT is, The elecTion of Chief Wavy Hair Reeder. ln This year oraTorical honors of The Tribe wenT To Brave Glibe-Tongue Parnham. This year our Tribe gave The annual FeasT of Spring lfo The Senior Tribe. The Heap Big Volcano Fuiyama .l Also This year was marked by The facT +ha+ we had The fasTesT Brave in Michigan Class B Tribes in Ford FleeT-fooTed Hess. The lasT year To be spenT in The beloved Wigwam by our Tribe was a big one in The hearTs of every Brave and Maiden. This year The annual Tribe Book was To be published. A Sfaff was To be elecTed by The Tribe and an able Edifor-in-Chief was needed. So The meeTing place was crowded wiTh I03 Braves and Maidens To elecT Princess Mildred Laughing Eyes Fishman. Affer This elecTion, The elecTion of rulers Took place. Big Brave LiTTle Halfback Wepfer was elecTed as our Chief. During This final year our fooTball playing Braves defeafecl The surrounding Tribes in winning The Heap Big Five Championship . During These Three years we had a Tribe musician of supreme TalenT in our brave Sam Nimble Fingers Kurlandsky. Our Tribe also supplied a previous AssisTanT EdiTor and The presenT EdiTor-in-Chief of The all Tribe paper in Princess Gladys Ever Smiling Gallagher. AThleTic squads were dominaTed by Braves from The Tribe, namely, Braves HiT-'em-hard Haase, Whip-'ern-ouT Wenban, and Fancy-shoT King. Our maidens are noT To be forgoTTen in The line of aThleTics wiTh liTTle Big Princess Base-hiTTer Gibson. We had one who really was a red-skin in The personage of Brave Am-l-Blushing Marrs. One of The big performances of The year was The Tribe play. The leads were Taken by Brave Big-Medicine Man Kelder and Princess LiTTle Dolly Bild. The final acTiviTies were The FeasT of Spring aT which we were guesfs and The graduaTion exercises in which we were graduaTed from This Tribe To launch our careers among sfrange Tribes.
