SE ICR HIGH STUDE T COUNCIL Advisor: Paul Howe A new method was used this year to form the Senior High Student Council. Candidates for the four offices-President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer-were chosen by the administration from those who submitted their names as interested in serving. After the officers were elected by the Senior High, three representatives were chosen from each class. Mr. Howe served as advisor. By this, closer ties between the ad- ministration and students came about. Work was done on a student handbook to help underclassmen become acquainted with high school routine. Rules to cover all phases of school life were included. This year the council became members of the New York State Association of Student Councils and the National Association of Student Councils.
