THE ENTIRE CAST: Mary Flanders, Pat Elder, Sylvia Clark, Sheryl Smith, Pat Blackburn, Jackie Hamilton, Lora Langworthy, Culver Johnson, Marsha Anderson, Bruce Sautter, Bob Blackburn, Linda DeWolfe, Dick Bodette, Barry MacEwan, Roger Mayott, Midge Solberg and Dave Dyer. ife of the party l95 8 iunior-senior play March l5, l958 brought to the stage ofthe South Glens Falls :entral School, a hilarious comedy, 'Life ofthe Party. Written by Vlarijane and Joseph Hayes, the play depicted the semi-Bohemian family, 'he Hughes, who moved into a new town. They became involved in a series of complicated events, :ulminating in disaster on the prom -night. The wise readjustments of the characters to one another and to lite made the play both unusual and worthwhile. Under the direction of Leon Sparling and Arthur James, the entire cast of Juniors and Seniors gave a spirited and convincing interpretation. Lora seems disturbed over the gaiety of the other principals, just before the rise of the curtain. Mr. Sparling smiles approval as Mr. James wishes Linda the best of luck. Midge and Marsha, all shook up, stand by. A number of the members of the class of '59 participated behind the scenes. Among these were Harry Gutheil, Linda Har- rington, Barbara Darling and Lois Brown on properties. June Potter, Lynn Shaw and Susan Bonitatibus sold tickets. The ushers included Barbara Darling, Nancy Carey, Nancy Rising, Linda Simonetta, Lois Brown, Betty Klausner, Diann Myers, Cathy Freebern, and Judy Porteous. Maureen DuFour, Ann Ruth, Gail Varney, and Linda Van Loan assisted Mrs. Marie Sparling and Mrs. Marie Freebern with makeup. Ray Burlett, manager of the stage crew, had Bob Mosher on stage design and Ray Albert as his chief assistant. The stage crew was under the direction of Lora seems somewhat hesitant about entering the room, but Linda and Jackie don't seem a bit ruffled. A. Morton Raych and Harley Smith.
