Miss Davis, club advisor, directed the raising of funds for the trip through many campaigns and projects. In New York and Washington, they visited many famous and interesting places. They returned later in April with happy memories and experiences added to their lives. Among the places they visited were Radio City Music Hall, Mount Vernon, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and the Bureau of Printing and Engraving.
