PilUPHlEH Cora Sue Butler, psychologist at South High, has told me that Peg Sweeney is having trouble with the Navy. It seems that Peg wanted to marry a sailor. But the sailor did not want to leave the Navy, so Peg joined the Waves. Peggv says if you can't lick 'em, join 'em. Caroline Ball and Phyllis Chapman are running a nursing home with Gary Quinn as host. Phyllis says that Gary is an immense success. He just has a way with the older ladies. While everyone else is economically bound to life's infinite cycle, Paul Hubinsky has retreated to his habitat in the Alps. Paul is content just to ski through his beloved mountains and draw pictures for the kids. jerry looked up as the front door opened. There stood Lee Ostrander, an English Professor at Hamilton, in an outfit unsuitable for his place of dignity. Lee was wearing a pair of red and blue Bermuda shorts with red knee socks and black and white shoes-the popular fad of the day. Lee's easy-going grin disappeared as he remembered he had forgotten to change into a suit for the formal occasion. He almost knocked over giggling Doris Hamilton in his scramble to back out of the room. Doris, who has made her million on the stock market, tried to calm down Bill jones who was outraged at Lee. What does he mean running around in inferior Bermuda shorts like those? screamed Bill, who is owner of jones Men's XVear Manufacturing Company. They weren't even color-fast , pointed out Carol Tibbits, saleslady for the company. Frank Murray, who is an engineer for the D. and H. Railroad, trotted after Lee with a pair of trousers for him. jerry raised his hand for silence and proceeded with his reading. Phyllis Simonetta has bagged another polar bear to add to her big game collection. This raises her total to six bears, four tigers, seven antelope, two elephants and four husbands. Bill Hayes has his own model agency in the fashion capital of the world, Paris. As a starter, Bill hired Lois Washburn and Judy Stanton as models. But alas, the girls soon discovered that they had eaten too many sweets at Squire's and had to whittle down if they were going to fit into the French fashions. Bill is having trouble, as Russ Chase, who is a salesman for Venus Telescope Company, has rented a room directly across from the models' dressing room. A few years ago Mary Robinson, Faith Ball, Louise Caputo, Arleen Ernst and Audrey Woodcock went down to South America determined to civilize the savage Auca Tribe. A week ago I flew down to invite them to our reunion. I was surprised to find our once quiet Audrey with a native sarong and a necklace of panther teeth. She told me that she would like to go to our reunion but had found the life of the jungle very much to her liking and did not want to go back to civilization. Russ Chase isn't the only one having a good time in Paris. Bob Rhodes is a personnel worker in the American Embassy there. While others have advanced, Bob is content to stay where he is-Bob just loves to get personal with the personnel. Warren Mayott and Bill Opalski are both science teachers at South High. Warren, the physics teacher, may be seen constructing pulleys in different series and Bill serves as chem teacher, track and J. V. basketball coach. Hmm, sounds familiar Well, that s it.Except for one thing. If you'll turn on the TV again we can catch the fights, tonight's battle will feature Pat Battler Breen and Mary Lou Andrews against the fighting Swears twins, joan and Mary, in a 60 minute tag team match. The referee will bejack Helwig. A After the fights were over, Edmund introduced the entertainment for the night, Hotlips Dick Nicholson and his orchestra. While Dick was wailing out a tune on his trombone, Carmen Dwyer, now Mrs. jack Butler, called from the kitchen, Soup's on, everybody sit down. Bob Rhodes
