The Red and Blue Cagers then found it tough going after this loss. They lost the next three straight ball games to Cilens Falls, Granville and XVhitehall. The following week they found themselves in the win column, trouncing Fort lidward 85 to 641 and a 71 to 59 vittory over the Kerry Blues of St. Marys. The Bulldogs closed the season of regular play by dropping a game to the Champs, Hudson Falls, S4 to 72. This loss then called for a playoff the following ext-ning on the Hudson Falls court. This game was to be between the Bulldogs and Wfhitehall to see who was to rep- resent the Northern Conference in the Section II playoffs .The Red and Blue came through with flying colors de- feating the Maroon and Wliite 71 to 52. South High was paced this year by the high scoring of Dale jones and Dick Potter with 272 and 261 respectively. They were followed in scoring by Bob Lemery with 190, Bill Hayes 151, and Bill jones with 1-19. South High went to the sections at Mechanicville as the Northern Conference Class C representative. The boys played a sparkling game by handing their opponents, Milne of Albany, a resounding defeat by the margin 72 to 60. The next step was the quarter-final playoff game against Fort Plain. The loss was a heart-breaker for the school, which had progressed so valiantly, but as the picture below will show the game was not an easy victory for the Plains- men. StlllllIllltS
