Second row: Bob Conklin, Ronny Com eau, lack Butler, Ken Francis, Dan Van Lew, Bob Farry, and Pat Russo. llliielllllgllll llHSHllHHll-1955 The South High Bulldogs in their second season in the Northern Conference bounced back after a poor first season and finished third in the Conference with a berth in the sectional playoffs. The Bulldogs ended league play with a 6 and 6 record and an overall mark of 11-7. The Bulldogs opened the season with two non-league victories over Greenwich and Schuylerville, but they found it rough in the opening league game dropping it by a 55 to 39 verdict to Glens Falls. The following week the Red and Blue found themselves, and won a close one from Gran- ville 55 to 50. The Bulldogs went on from here winning their next four straight ball games. Two of these victories were in the newly formed Christmas Tournament by downing Argyle 53 to 47 and de- feating Queensbury in the finals 54 to 38. The Bulldogs then lost a close non-league to Corinth 61 to 60. Home Away We They We They 64 26 1 95 5 56 SCHEDULE The boys from South High came rearing back the following week in league play and defeated St. Marys 65 to 62 in an overtime period.
