ACKNOWLEDGMENT uBuilding Our Lives may be compared to building a house only on a much larger ond more delicate scale. This, we are doing at South Gate Junior High, and this we are portraying- in the pages of our yearbook. Our foundation-Mr. Sarna and the Journalism stuff helped to plan the book and super- vise its construction. After the foundation comes the wallseMr. Uhl and his camera staff whose fine photo- graphic work help make the book interesting. The book is getting larger, and the foundation and walls must be strong or the book will collapse. it takes other workers to make it secure. The roofing takes a lot of work and Miss Evans and her typing class and Mrs. Greena- walt and the business office have put in many hours of hard work. Mrs. Hall and her art service did the decorating of this house of ours, and a fine job they did, indeed. Now the house needs shrubbery and landscapkMr. Ferris and the Graphic Art students deserve the llgood construction award for a terrific contribution of proofing, combining, bind- ing and in general doing a wonderful printieng job on the yearbook. To all other studentbocly and faculty members who have donated co-operation and time throughout the year, we give thanks. Last, but certainly not least, the building needed financial backing, and thatls where YOU came in. Thank you and some 1650 others for your subscription support.
